Join an awesome mountain bike ride known for good times in downright stinky weather! Our 19+ mile mountain bike ride is held on what may be the most rotten weather day of the year. There’s mud, fun, beer, and some much-needed mid-winter cheer!
Riders start and finish at Redmond City Hall in downtown Redmond, Washington, and follow a route along the Tolt Pipeline, Trilogy, Redmond Watershed, Power Line and Sammamish River trails. Playing cards are collected at stops on the route, with each rider hoping to have a poker hand good enough at the end to win a prize.
Your registration fee goes to the Redmond Rotary Club Foundation that supports charitable causes, locally and internationally. This event is hard core — and heartwarming.
Pick up your race packet and bag which includes your pint glass, beanie and bib number to bypass the check-in line Saturday morning. Here's the address and map link for Friday:
Edge & Spoke
7875 Leary Way NE, Redmond, WA 98052
Parking is limited Click here for parking suggestions. There is a small lot behind Edge & Spoke but most likely you will need to park on the street. Please note any signs/restrictions wherever you choose to park.
Have fun, be safe! Remember to pick up a card at each of the 3 pit stops and 2 at the finish line to complete your poker hand.
Stinky Spoke has a new launch site and celebration venue this year at Redmond City Hall campus. Riders will start moving north on the Sammamish River Trail before taking a right on the Tolt Pipeline Trail. Riders will face a 300 foot rise called Heart Attack Hill before riding further on the Tolt to Collin Creek, into the Watershed, on the Power Line route through Farrel-McWhirter then westward to the Sammamish Trail and back to Redmond City Hall.
A chalk line will be added up “Heart Attack Hill” to provide separate lanes for riders and walkers for everyone’s safety. The hill is a real beast. Riders who conquer it without coming off their bike will receive a flashy medal (and bragging rights).
